Remembering your passions

We all have them where it’s that constant pleasantry that greets you each night or that wandering daydream that sneaks up on you during the day or just that gnawing idea that constantly comes to your mind. These persistent ideas that follow us everywhere we go are called dreams. There is a fine line between our dreams and our reality and it is called CHOICE. The decisions we make daily continuously impact the path we are taken on. Our choices are our pathways laid out in front of us showing us our options and telling us ways we can live an amazing life that is worth remembering. And the best way to do this is to follow your passions constantly and fuel them every opportunity that you get. Remember them, write them down, set out time in your days dedicated to these little and big nuggets of inspiration that transcend the dawn of time and age.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating this modern day view that your passion has to be your career. You can always has the thing that feeds you and the thing that fuels you. There doesn’t have to be an either or. You don’t have to remove one from your life for the other in the name of sacrifice. No I’m a thorough believer in having your cake and eat it too. It doesn’t mean that you have to quit your job and follow your passion and live that enchanted life that is being advertised in modern times. No siree bob. Not all of our realities can connect with this, because we have responsibilities and obligations to meet. Rather what I am advocating is to take one day a week or a month to honour yourself. Honour your passions by engaging in it. Honour your talents by sharing it. Feed your soul and your passions. Enrich your life and this will be your constant rejuvenation and nourishment for your soul. Who says you can’t have it all? A life of passion, purpose and reality all into one sweet fruit salad.
